Institute of Classical Architecture and Art

The Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) is a gem smack dab in the middle of New York City’s midtown on 44th Street where classical architecture fans can take classes, visit the sculpture library and engage their interest and passion in classes and tours of classical architecture. The ICAA Library is a non-circulating research library and is open to the general public by appointment. Classes are not just for adults but also middle school and high school students as well as architecture and design students. There are walking tours and travel programs to visit classical buildings in their original locations. A brief stop at the ICAA is a way to delve into a world of art, architecture and sculpture that can open doors to new worlds in old settings. The national organization has chapters throughout the United States in many cities with programs that can be found at www.classicist.org.
